Mayor's Community Forums

The Mayor's Community Forums are a recent initiative of Council, introduced in 2006.

The first of these forums was held in Port Germein during Janaury 2006 and was considered to be quite successful, with approximately 90 people attending.

The purpose of the Forums is to discuss with residents any issues that may affect them, to seek input and ideas for consideration in Council's Budget, and to provide the Community with an opportunity to ask, in an open public forum, questions of the Council staff and Elected Members in attendance, and to identify issues of concern.
