Disability Access and Inclusion Plan Survey and Workshop
Public Participation for Disability Access & Inclusion Plan
Survey to seek input to a draft Plan
Council is currently developing its Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) to ensure that people within the community who are living with disability are able to access and participate in all aspects of our society, including use of mainstream services and programs. The process is being guided by EnvironArc, a disability specialist consultancy that has been engaged by Council to implement the development of the DAIP, which must be completed by 31 October 2020 to comply with state legislation.
To assist us in preparing a DAIP we are seeking your input by completing the survey and attending the community workshop
Hard copies of the survey are available at the Melrose Council Office, Port Germein Post Office, Wirrabara Post Office and Wilmington Post Office. If you require any assistance or other forms of the survey please contact us.
The survey closes on 25 September 2020.
