Council Meetings
PUBLIC ACCESS TO THE COUNCIL MEETINGS
& RECORDING OF COUNCIL MEETINGS
Due to COVID-19 restrictions for public gatherings, from 28 April 2020 until further notice, Council Meetings will be conducted electronically and recorded (excluding confidential items).
This measure is in line with Australian Government guidelines in response to COVID-19 and has been taken to ensure the safety of Elected Members, Council staff and any members of the public who wish to access the meeting. Recent variations to the Local Government Act 1999 and Regulations have made electronic participation in Council meetings legally possible.
Elected Members and Council Officers will attend the meetings via remote access.
A recording of the meeting will be made available to members of the public shortly after the conclusion of the meeting on Councils website www.mtr.sa.gov.au for the period only while the COVID-19 restrictions apply.
Should you have any questions about the recording of council meetings please contact Council on 8666 2014 or email postmaster@mtr.sa.gov.au.
