Community Lands
Pursuant to Section 207 of the Local Government Act 1999 and Regulation 23 of the Local Government (General) Regulations 2013, Council adopted its Community Land Register on 21 May 2024 [Resolution 073-2024]. The Community Land Register is read in conjunction with the Community Land Management Plans listed below.
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 196 of the Local Government Act 1999, Council is required to prepare and adopt a Management Plan or Management Plans for its Community Land.
Plans have been prepared and adopted for the following classifications of Council's Community Land:-
1. Public Halls
2. Community Buildings
3. Cemeteries
4. Waste Management
5. Recreation Reserves
6. Caravan Parks
7. Other Reserves
An Introductory Document has also been prepared which provides further information in respect of Community Land and Community Land Management Plans.
