DCMR Youth Strategy

Council considered a report at its March 2025 Ordinary Meeting seeking adoption of a Youth Strategy. The Strategy was formulated through a process of seeking feedback from Council Members, the community and school principals. The Strategy was received and endorsed by council with a Youth Survey to be conducted across the district. Volunteering:

Please note that there are many business in the district that may be offering voluntary roles.

Generally, the local CFS and SES brigades encourage people who are looking to join as a volunteer to come along to a training night. This is a great way to get to know some of the current members, check out the facilities and ask all the questions you have. This is the best way to really engage with your local brigade and really get a gauge of what you are signing up for.
