Community Assistance Grant Program
The District Council of Mount Remarkable's Community Assistance Grant Program is dedicated to supporting local, non-for-profit, incorporated community groups located within our local government area. Annually, we invite applications from community groups, and sporting organisations serving our district. The Community Assistance Grant Program serves as a resource for community groups to secure funding for projects that might be challenging to obtain from other sources. These projects, activities or events should clearly demonstrate a positive impact on the residents of the District Council of Mount Remarkable.
For the 2026/2027 Community Assistance Grants Program, we are pleased to announce an available grant pool totalling $30,000. Eligible organisations are encouraged to apply for a maximum funding amount of $5,000 (GST is not applicable). Applicants may submit more than one application if desired.
Applications for the 2026/2027 Community Assistance Grants Program will open on Monday 3 August 2026. To be considered, all completed applications must be received by no later than 5:00pm on Friday 11September 2026.
