ATM facility at Melrose
Following an approach from Armaguard and subsequent resolution of Council in April agreeing to the 3 year terms and associated conditions, Melrose will soon have a new ATM facility.
The facility will be located within the former Australia Postal agency area of 3 Stuart Street which will enable public access on a 24/7 basis. The ATM will not have any impact on Council financially, nor will Council be required to undertake any maintenance of the ATM.
"This facility will be welcomed by locals and visitors alike who currently have no banking facilities in the town, other than through EFTPOS at local stores and the Australia Post agency which Council provides during normal office hours" said CEO Sam Johnson.
The ATM will be up and running around 15 June and further details will be publicised via social media platforms and Council’s website.
