Baroota Reservoir Water Release commencing Thursday 22 August 2024

The Northern & Yorke Landscape Board are doing a controlled release of water from the Baroota Reservoir site commencing Thursday 22 August 2024. This activity will take place over a 2 week duration.
This will effect two water crossings in our district which are:
1. Reservoir Road; and,
2. Garden Road
Reservoir Road does not pose a problem, however the Northern & Yorke Landscape Board are indicating that Garden Road will be impassable from approximately Thursday 29 August 2024.
Council will provide a further update regarding any detour arrangements that may be determined and the timeframe that the road will be impassable.
