Father Christmas announcement! visit on Wednesday 16 December 2020
Father Christmas has made contact with the Council over the weekend and has told us that he wants to make a special last minute visit to see everyone before Christmas. He said that he knows that all the residents and children of the Mount Remarkable district have gone through a lot in 2020 and would like to give back some extra smiles and happiness back in to the community.
The local SA Police force has also agreed to help escort Father Christmas around the district, so keep a look out for flashing lights!
Father Christmas will be arriving this Wednesday 16 December and will be doing a loop around each main street starting at 4pm in Weeroona Island, then Port Germein, Wilmington, Melrose, Booleroo Centre, Murray Town and lastly Wirrabara. Make sure to look out for the flashing lights!
