Solar Farm Grant Scheme Winners
The Solar Farm Community Grant Scheme had been established by Council to invest funds received from the solar farm operator Meralli Projects Pty Ltd to support non-profit community groups and services operating in or servicing the township of Port Germein and Weeroona Island.
The funding was aimed at providing community groups and organisations with the opportunity to obtain funds for projects which cannot easily be obtained from other sources.
Applicants were eligible to apply for an amount up to a maximum of $3,000.
The applications were considered at the Ordinary Council meeting on February 18 2020.
