Wilmington Bushfire - Volunteers Event

Mayor Stephen McCarthy on behalf of the District Council of Mount Remarkable would like to invite all volunteers, their families and supporting businesses to the Wilmington Bushfire Volunteers Event being held on Sunday the 16th March between 5pm and 8 pm at the Jackas Brothers Brewery, Melrose.
This event is being held to thank everyone for their efforts during the Wilmington Bushfire. The sense of community as volunteers came to Wilmington from all over the district, the state and even the country was outstanding. Every person and business who took part in the bushfire played an important part in getting the bushfire under control.
