Coonatto Creek Reserve

When the railway was planned for Hammond, the approximately 100 acres were set aside as a reserve for the collection of ballast material. This reserve, as well as the Hammond Historic Railway Station, are reminders that many years ago, the township of Hammond was once a busy town.
