General Information
The District Council of Mount Remarkable is made up of a mayor and six councillors, elected at large.
The elected members, being elected at large, represent the whole of the community and this structure ensures a community wide focus by elected members when debating and voting on issues within the council chamber.
Council elections occur every four years and at the time of the election all of the positions are declared vacant.
Our next periodic election is due in April 2027.
